As a Senior Solution Advisor, you’ll be the trusted subject matter expert and bridge between client operations and the capabilities of Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium. You will lead complex workflow transformations across HIM and Care/Utilization Management, ensuring the integrity of the legal medical record, supporting regulatory compliance, and enabling efficient care coordination and discharge planning. Your work will directly improve patient safety, reduce administrative risk, and streamline revenue-impacting processes.

- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary consultant for HIM, Case Management, and Utilization Review leadership across all relevant Oracle Health solutions.
- Provide expert guidance and knowledge transfer on HIM principles, chart completion, deficiency management, release of information (ROI), and care coordination workflows.
- Facilitate design workshops, review deliverables, and drive consensus across HIM Directors, Coding leaders, Case Managers, Social Workers, and Compliance Officers.
- Solution Design & Workflow Analysis
- Lead end‑to‑end medical record lifecycle analysis (chart completion, deficiency tracking, ROI, identity management).
- Design Case Management and Utilization Management workflows including discharge planning, care coordination, and clinical reviews.
- Identify risks and pain points in clinical/administrative workflows and recommend best practices grounded in regulatory requirements and proven successes.
- Implementation & Solution Management
- Support all phases of EHR testing, validating HIM and Case Management workflow integrity and integration with clinical and financial systems.
- Triage, escalate, and drive resolution of trouble tickets and change requests for HIM and Care/Utilization Management solution areas.
- Review training materials and job aids to align with configured system design and best-practice workflows.
- Governance & Adoption
- Champion process integrity, audit readiness, and data accuracy; monitor KPIs and adoption metrics.
- Translate complex system capabilities into stakeholder-friendly language; coach operational leaders and technical teams on impacts and dependencies.
What you need:
- Experience: 5 years combined experience in Health Information Management (HIM), Case Management, or Clinical Informatics consulting.
- Oracle Health/Cerner Expertise: Hands-on experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium, including HIM solutions (e.g., Deficiency Tracking, ROI) and Care/Utilization Management.
- Domain Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of medical record compliance, chart analysis/deficiency management, ROI laws, discharge planning, and utilization review criteria such as InterQual or MCG.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior operational leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. RHIA/RHIT certification or clinical license (e.g., RN) strongly preferred.
Nice to have:
- Configuration expertise in Deficiency Tracking and familiarity with the ROI module.
- Working knowledge of identity management and data integrity controls.
- Exposure to revenue cycle touchpoints, HIM/Coding operations, and compliance audits.
- Experience facilitating design workshops and change control boards.
- Consulting fundamentals: stakeholder management, issue/risk tracking, executive-ready communication.
- Project/change management credentials (e.g., PMP, Prosci) are a plus.
