Position Overview:
The Technical Site Assessor plays a critical role in supporting pre‑deployment discovery and readiness efforts for the implementation of a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system across multiple medical centers. This float position is designed to move from deployment wave to deployment wave, providing targeted on‑site support during key phases of pre‑deployment and deployment activities.
The Technical Site Assessor will conduct Technical Walkthroughs focused on Data Drops and Power Outlets (DDPO), Production End User Devices (EUDs), Interfaces, and, when relevant, Space Logistics. This role requires close collaboration with technical and functional teams to assess site‑specific needs, identify gaps, and ensure alignment with overall deployment requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive Technical Walkthroughs to assess Data Drops and Power Outlets (DDPO), Production End User Devices (EUDs), system interfaces, and space readiness.
• Build a clear, detailed understanding of site technical needs and risks by gathering data, analyzing gaps, and validating readiness.
• Partner with technical, clinical, and operational teams to ensure sites meet requirements for EHR deployment.
• Identify, track, and escalate technical risks or deficiencies, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
• Provide on‑site support during critical pre‑deployment and deployment windows, helping address technical challenges that may impact readiness or adoption.
• Document findings, prepare readiness reports, and support the development of action plans.
• Maintain awareness of technical standards, configurations, and dependencies related to the EHR implementation.
• Adapt to varying environments as the role transitions between deployment waves and medical centers.
• Represent the project professionally during high‑visibility client interactions with hospital and clinic leadership.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience performing technical assessments in hospital or clinic environments.
• Familiarity with clinical information systems and healthcare technical infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data, identify gaps, and develop recommendations.
• Ability to travel up to 75% to support multiple geographic locations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clinicians, IT staff, and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience with Oracle EHR or similar electronic health record platforms.
• Experience with Medical End User Devices (EUD) and related workflows.
• Understanding of Health Level 7 (HL7) standards and interface troubleshooting.
• Experience conducting network assessments in healthcare environments.
• Skills in data analysis, risk assessment, and structured escalation.
