Summary

Mc3 Partners is seeking a senior, market‑facing AI Solutions Architect & Sales Engineering leader specializing in AI‑enabled systems, agentic workflows, and production‑grade AI delivery within U.S. federal environments. This role spans the full lifecycle—from opportunity shaping and technical solutioning through capture, proposal development, pricing, and post‑award delivery assurance.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on AI architect and builder who can design, prototype, operationalize, and govern secure, scalable, mission‑aligned AI systems. This is a build, sell, and validate role with direct impact on technical wins, solution differentiation, and delivery outcomes.

Core Responsibilities
Growth, Sales Engineering & Solutioning
  • Lead technical solutioning for AI‑based federal opportunities, including generative AI, LLM applications, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, automation, and decision‑support systems.
  • Define AI‑based discriminators and technical win themes; lead customer‑facing discussions, architecture sessions, demos, and whiteboarding engagements.
  • Partner with Business Development and Capture to shape opportunities pre‑RFP.
  • Present and defend AI solution approaches to technical, mission, and executive stakeholders.
AI‑Enabled Engineering (Required)
(Directly grounded in the document: “Aleut Federal expects AI to be a core engineering and delivery capability in this role…”)
  • Design and implement agentic systems with multi‑step reasoning, tool‑use, retrieval layers, workflow engines, and human‑in‑the‑loop models.
  • Build systems with guardrails, fallback logic, validation layers, escalation controls, memory handling, and clear tradeoffs between prompting, retrieval, orchestration, and agentic execution.
  • Deliver secure, governable, auditable AI systems aligned to Zero Trust, federal security expectations, privacy constraints, responsible AI practices, and hallucination mitigation.
  • Hands‑on implementation experience is required; theoretical or prompt‑only backgrounds are not sufficient.
Capture, Proposal & Pricing
  • Lead technical proposal development for AI opportunities.
  • Author full technical sections including architecture, retrieval strategy, agentic workflow design, security model, and implementation approach.
  • Build BOEs aligned to engineering effort, data integration, model access, infrastructure cost, and sustainment.
Delivery Assurance & Technical QA
  • Ensure alignment between proposed architectures and delivered implementations.
  • Provide oversight during prototype‑to‑production transition, data integration, retrieval setup, model integration, and workflow deployment.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to hallucinations, reliability, data leakage, access control, latency, cost, governance, and auditability.
Technical Marketing & Thought Leadership
  • Develop AI‑focused solution briefs, use cases, and capability messaging.
  • Participate in industry events, customer briefings, demos, and technical forums.
  • Position Mc3 Partners as a credible AI delivery partner.

Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • 7+ years of U.S. federal experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience designing and implementing AI‑enabled systems.
  • Experience with LLM applications, RAG architectures, agentic systems, or AI‑enabled automation.
  • Experience supporting technical solutioning, capture, proposals, and customer‑facing engagements.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering AI systems in production federal or enterprise environments.
  • Experience implementing agentic workflows with tool use and orchestration.
  • Experience integrating AI with cloud, data, or platform ecosystems.
  • Experience with secure AI deployment, monitoring, and governance.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Relevant AI/ML or cloud certifications.

Position Profile Summary
  • AI and agentic systems‑focused
  • Growth‑driven with direct impact on technical wins
  • Hands‑on and delivery accountable
  • Production‑oriented, not theoretical
  • Mission‑aligned and operationally credible

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
